Ingredients

  • Chicken mince ½ kg

  • Mozzarella cheese 1 cup

  • Ginger paste 1 tsp

  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp

  • Corn flour 1 tbsp

  • Salt ½ tsp

  • Parsley 2 tbsp (chopped)

  • Spring onion 250 gm (chopped)

  • Red chili powder 1 tsp

  • Garlic 2 tsp (minced)

  • For coating
  • 1 Egg (beaten)

  • Breadcrumbs

  • Oil, for frying (omit if baking)

Directions

  • Mix mozzarella cheese in chicken mince along with ginger paste, soya sauce, corn flour, salt, parsley, spring onions, red chili powder, garlic mince.
  • Shape the mixture into medium-sized balls and dip in a beaten egg.
  • Roll the chicken ball on bread crumb
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry until golden brown.

Notes

  • 1.      Heat oil on medium fire before including the balls. If you heat on high fire the outside of the balls transforms into dark colored covering right away.
    2.      After adding balls fry it on low fire. Something else, the outside part seems to be cooked however remains raw inside.
    3.      Do not overcook the cheese balls, generally, the cheese may blast out from the balls

These Cheesy chicken balls can be baked or they can be deep-fry too. These balls are really clear to make. When baking these Chicken Cheese Balls, ensure that you brush oil on the baking tray. And turn around the balls on the baking tray, so every one of the sides are covered with oil. This will guarantee that the chicken balls heat fresh, crispy and not spongy.
